Spring is upon us and for most of us, keeping horses is becoming easier with less rain and longer days.

We need to leave the darkness behind and focus on the brighter aspects of life.

Therefore, this magazine is intented to create awareness about the bad experiences that may occur in stables around the world.

This can be abuse, assault and insecurity.

The Swedish girl Sophie Jahn is one of those who has had unpleasant experiences, and now she is sharing her story with the world.

Respect.

Here at Malgré Tout, we strongly condemn this behaviour, and in this issue, we will describe why more people experience it and what you can do to avoid being in the same situation.

Sophie Jahn’s story is unfortunately not unique.

Malgré Tout takes the topic seriously, hoping to break down some barriers and talk openly about what can be difficult. Just like bullying and jealousy.

We would also like to hear from you if you have experiences that you hope others can learn from.

Best wishes
