In spite of everything

MALGRÉ TOUT

Malgré Tout is French and means “in spite of everything” which ties directly into our mission: To reflect the reality of the riding universe, across European borders. Being around horses with everything that comes with it – frustrations as well as joy – is at the center of our focus. That is why we are called Malgré Tout.

Malgré Tout Media is engaged in everything where reality meets equestrian life. We support and inspire horse enthusiasts in a changing world, so we keep our readers informed about what it means to be a horse lover in 2023. Our media wants to contribute to diversity and must therefore be a meeting point for horse enthusiasts across gender, age and national borders.

Since 2015 we have built our media with the goal of creating content for everyone in the equestrian world - regardless of experience, age, gender, discipline, or breed. So, you as a reader, can identify with us, no matter what. We want to demonstrate that the equestrian world is open to everyone, and everyone should feel welcome. Therefore, we are also not afraid to show the flip side of the coin or go close to difficult subjects, which can also be a part of the equestrian lifestyle.

Here at Malgré Tout we are a mix of different people. Most of us are passionate horse people and we love everything to do with horses. This means that we are out in the stables ourselves, experiencing the joys, worries and challenges of the equestrian life. We are equestrians who experience everything from training problems, horse injuries and mud in our boots to the most amazing canter rides in the field, successful training sessions, and the incredible bond between horse and human. We are a team with very mixed interests, and we are always curious to learn even more about the equestrian world and the sport.

Dear reader

Best wishes

& the rest of Malgré Tout

Please feel free to jump on board our first magazine of 2023.

The entire editorial team has been looking forward to bringing you the most relevant content at a time when the equestrian lifestyle is challenged.

It is no secret that the world is in upheaval.

We have war in Europe, the inflation is sky-high, and it is probably challenging your daily life too.

But do not worry, you have Malgré Tout.

We have got you covered, so you can stay well informed as a horse owner.

And in this edition of the magazine, we have chosen to focus on the overriding issue – economy.

How do you make ends meet when everything is so expensive? And how can you save money?

There are many questions... and we hope to give you most of the answers. If we succeed, we hope you will come back as a reader.

We will certainly do our best.

Enjoy your reading!
